Who I am…

My name is Michelle, and I am the heart behind Peaceful Path Animal Reiki. I am a retired U.S. Army medic with 20 years of service, including two combat tours in Afghanistan and three in Iraq. Throughout my military career, I was deeply committed to caring for others—often in high-stress and emotionally demanding environments where compassion, calm, and presence were essential.

I received my Level III Reiki attunement in 2011, and energy work has been an important part of my life for many years. Even while deployed, I used energy healing techniques to support fellow service members during times of physical and emotional strain. While helping people has always been meaningful to me, my deepest passion has always been working with animals.

I share my life with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs, who continually remind me of the intuitive wisdom and healing capacity animals possess. Three years ago, my family and I moved to Costa Rica, where the natural beauty, slower pace of life, and abundance of animals reawakened my calling to return to energy work—this time fully dedicated to supporting animals.

Through Peaceful Path Animal Reiki, I offer gentle, compassionate energy healing to animals of all kinds, including companion animals, rescued animals, and wildlife. My intention is to support their physical comfort, emotional balance, and overall well-being while honoring each animal’s unique needs and natural healing process.
